Denisse & Jordan - Taber Ranch, Capay CA

Oh my goodness, where do I start with this amazing wedding … From the very start walking into Denisse’s beautiful house we were treated like family. Her love for dogs, amazing personality, and overall sweetness made her feel like a long lost best friend. Deniess and Jordan were married at a beautiful Catholic Church in Dixon, Then had a beautiful reception at Taber ranch. They both were surrounded by friends and family including Jordans very fun wrestling buddies :)

When I asked Denisse what her favorite part of the wedding was she said “Our photo shoot in the garden/top of the hill. Here is why; we knew our guests were thoroughly enjoying themselves and we finally had a moment to just enjoy ourselves and let it all sink in.” I also asked her what advice or tips she would have for future brides, she said “don’t skimp on these two things: photography and videography. You absolutely need both and you will experience wedding amnesia so do yourself a favor, make the memories last forever.”

Karla & Karl - Fairview, Napa

When you run away to Napa to get married you know it’s going to be a great time. An endless week / weekend of great wine tastings, amazing restaurants, hanging out with friends and family right before an absolutely beautiful wedding. When I asked Karla what her favorite part of her wedding was she said “I LOVED EVERYTHING. I’m sad it went so fast, But loved my family being together.” I also asked if she had any advice for future brides and Karla said “Hire a videographer, it goes by so fast. You’ll want to look back at it.”

Karla & Karl were married at Fairview, Napa in true Napa style :)

Tina & Weldon - Rancho Solano, Fairfield CA

Ohhhh man where to start .... An amazing venue, an amazing couple and the band Tower of power ... say what!!!!!! This wedding was filled with so much fun, love, and laughter that I was not ready to go home. Tina and Weldon were married at Rancho Solano surrounded by friends and family from all around the world.

When I asked Tina what her favorite part of the wedding was she said "My favorite part of the wedding was seeing Weldon at the ceremony. I was nervous once I came walking out & saw everyone looking at me. But once I started walking down the aisle, I locked onto Weldon's eyes and saw his big smile! That turned my feelings around from being nervous to being super excited!!

I also asked her if she had any tips for future brides and she said "My advice for future brides is to get to get organized, get to know your vendors, & HAVE FUN! Being organized helps not only yourself, but everyone involved with the wedding planning. It helps for everyone to get on the same page as you & your vision. Getting to know your vendors made planning so much easier and was more meaningful to us. We felt that they really understood what we were trying to do & helped bring our wedding dream into a reality. Knowing your vendors helps with the flow of your entire day. RELAX! I know it's easier said than done but it's true. You will get stressed out moments which is natural. Be stressed for a few minutes but don't let that be the main feeling you get when planning the wedding. That will kill your excitement! Just know everything will always work out & sometimes, better than you initially thought!

Amanda & Curtis - The Bayley Barn - Pilot Hill, CA

My love for old building and gorgeous brides was making this day pretty amazing. It was such an honor to capture Amanda & Curtis wedding at The Bayley Barn, An old historic home The Bayley house that was built in 1861 hopping to be the next grand hotel in Pilot Hill but Central Pacific railroad decided to go up Auburn and not Pilot hill so the hotel flopped.

When I asked Amanda what was her favorite part of the wedding was she said "Everything" "I loved walking down the isle with my dad and dancing and my sisters speech, it really touched my heart" I also asked Amanda what advise she would say to future brides and she said " Dont stress the small stuff, everything always comes together and to just enjoy every minute. When we found out we left the wedding rings back at the hotel and I was starting to have a melt down, I had to stop and remember I'm about to marry my best friend and all those little things dont matter I still got to marry the love of my life and we still had a beautiful ceremony"

Thank you again Amanda and Curtis for choosing me to capture your amazing day :)

Rachel & Nick - Shiloh Church - Vacaville Opera House

Church from 1875, bird seed, and a gorgeous bride ....ummm YES please. This day could not of gotten any better for me. Not only do I love weddings but I LOVE old buildings and the history behind them. The Shiloh church was built in 1876 and the minister arrived by boat up the Montezuma shough and picked up by horse and buggy. The Old graveyard behind has the remains of John Bird and the early pioneers of Solano County. But enough of me geeking out and more about this amazing couple that was married in this amazing Church and celebrated their reception at the Vacaville Opera house. Rachel and Nick thank you for being the most laid back, amazing couple every. Capturing your wedding was amazing.
